RFP for Engineering Services and Public Outreach for Preparation of a Feasibility Study for the Cordova Creek To Trail Project.
The City of Rancho Cordova is performing a feasibility analysis to create a study that includes data collection, public outreach, and detailed analysis to create a list of recommended projects for creating a trail, connecting the creek to the existing transportation corridors to encourage active transportation.
The study will conduct a detailed analysis of the future creek trail connection to the existing active transportation corridors to inform investments in project development, maintenance, way finding, safety and innovative active transportation projects. The study will utilize public outreach, performance measures, traffic data collection, pedestrian and bike counts, socio-economic data, and greenhouse gas emission reduction information to identify the active transportation connections which have stronger user potential, are supported by the community and contribute to the sustainability of the region with best use of limited funding.
