INVITATION TO BID: MATHER RAILS TO TRAILS PROJECT
Sealed Proposals will be received at the office of the City Clerk, City of Rancho Cordova, 2729 Prospect Park Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670, up to the hour of 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 30, 2017 and will be publicly opened and read for performing the work on the Mather Rails to Trails Project.
General work description: Construction work includes installation of a new Class 1 Bike Trail, Class 4 Bike Trail, bridge modifications, pedestrian signal, curb, gutter, sidewalk, fencing, irrigation, landscaping, removal and replacement and for replacement of thermoplastic pavement striping and marking as well as other items and details not mentioned above but described in the Special Provisions or shown on the Plans or as designated by the Engineer.
Estimated Construction Cost: $ 2,416,000

A mandatory pre-project meeting is scheduled for Oct 17, 2017 - 10:00 a.m. at the City of Rancho Cordova City Hall, 2729 Prospect Park Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 for the purpose of reviewing and answering questions regarding this Project.
Bidders are hereby notified that this contract is subject to the Davis-Bacon Federal minimum wage rates and State prevailing wage rates. Pursuant to Section 110 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 and Section 1770, et. seq. of the California Labor Code.
Bidders and contractors performing work under this advertisement are further bound by the requirements of President's Executive Order 11246 as amended by Executive Order 11375; Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Section 109 of Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986; the Davis-Bacon Act; the Copeland “Anti-Kickback” Act; and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act.
