Folsom Boulevard Business Group

What it is

The City of Rancho Cordova recently facilitated the establishment of a Folsom Boulevard Business Group. The purpose of this group is to pool resources and information and work towards meaningful solutions to improve the local business climate.


Why the Group was Formed

• Advocacy for local businesses and property owners.
• To increase communication and cohesiveness among businesses.
• To address opportunities for improvement, such as security and image enhancement.

Who Can Participate

• Businesses and property owners that own or operate a business or property in the Folsom Boulevard Corridor.
• The Folsom Boulevard Corridor extends from Bradshaw Road to Sunrise Boulevard, and includes the businesses along side streets and Olson Drive.

Steering Committee

The group is in the process of forming a steering committee. This committee will be responsible for setting the agenda of monthly 2009 meetings, keeping the group focused on specific goals and getting the word out to all local business and property owners. City staff will help facilitate the process and provide administrative support.


Get Involved

There are many ways to help participate in this effort:

• Help distribute meeting flyers
• Be a part of a subcommittee (Security, Marketing & Events)
• Facilitate part of a meeting
