2009-2010 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Review (CAPER)
Each year the City is required to report on the performance of the activities funded from the previous year's CDBG program. The CAPER document explains, in narrative format, those results. At the City Council meeting on September 20, 2010, the Council will be presented the results of activities funded from CDBG in fiscal year 2009-10. After the presentation the Council will be asked to approve for submittal to HUD the 2009-10 CAPER. Citizens wishing to comment on the contents of the CAPER are invited to attend the meeting and/or submit questions to Housing staff prior to that date.

CDBG-R
The City has been awarded CDBG-R funding, a special allocation of CDBG funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Below is some information on how the City plans to spend its funds.
CDBG-R Substantial Amendment reallocates funding from the original CDBG-R purposes. The City will be funding the installation of a 100% solar PV system to be installed on the Cordova Senior Center. Additionally, part of the reallocated funds will go towards improvements of the White Rock Neighborhood Pathway that allows pedestrians to access Folsom Blvd. from Mills Tower Dr. The City still plans on using the remainder of funds to purchase a neighborhood van for a new Building Strong Neighborhoods improvement program.
