Curt Haven is the Director of Economic Development & Neighborhood Services. In this role, Curt plans economic strategies, oversees redevelopment, and is the liaison to neighborhood associations.
Curt has the distinction of being the first employee hired by the City in 2003. Prior to working for the City of Rancho Cordova, Curt was self-employed in the auto parts business for 20 years. He chaired the City’s Incorporation Committee and co-chaired the ballot measure. He also previously worked for the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce and with the Cordova Recreation and Park District Board of Directors.
Curt is a member of California Economic Development, Metro and Rancho Cordova Chambers of Commerce, Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization, California Redevelopment Association, International City Managers Association, and the Cordova Community Council. He has also been involved with the Rotary Club, Cordova High School, Boy and Girl Scouts, and other youth groups. He is the recipient of many civic awards from the State Legislature and community groups.
Curt studied criminal justice at California State University, Sacramento.
