Mindy Cuppy was named City Clerk in August 2008 after working at the City the previous year as supervisor of administrative support staff. Prior to that, she was the executive assistant to the President of Heald Colleges in Roseville and Rancho Cordova and worked in the human resources department at several private agencies and companies.
The City Clerk’s office compiles and distributes City Council meeting agendas, documents all laws that are enacted, administers elections, receives and opens bids, and is in charge of recordkeeping.
Mindy’s strong communication and organizational skills and her attention to details are essential to her position that requires strict accuracy and meeting explicit deadlines. She is a member of the City Clerk’s Association of California, the International Association of Municipal Clerks, and the International Association of Administrative Professionals.
Mindy earned a B.A. in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an A.A. from Sierra College.
