Executive Assistant to the City Manager/Administrative Support Supervisor

Stacy Leitner is the senior executive assistant at the City of Rancho Cordova and joined the City in 2004. She keeps the City Manager’s office organized and running smoothly. She organizes the City Manager’s calendar, coordinating his frequent meetings and contacts with the Mayor and City Council, public, government officials, and representatives from other agencies. In addition, Stacy oversees and supervises the City’s administrative support staff and interns.

Stacy’s passion and focus towards professional development and self-improvement has led her to also dedicate more than 16 years to teaching college business and computer application courses at Heald College, Butte College, and MTI College. Fueled by a desire to want to help her students, administrative professionals, managers, executives, businesses, and governments succeed, Stacy has continued to support her passion for life-long learning by acquiring certifications and being actively involved in professional associations.

Stacy has held local and statewide leadership roles supporting the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). She also belongs to the National, Western, and California Business Education Associations; the American Society of Administrative Professionals (ASAP) for whom she was an Advisory Council Member for the 2009 and 2010 annual conferences; and the Association of Executive and Administrative Professionals.

In 2009, she was recognized by the Cordova Community Council as “Distinguished Rancho Cordova Educator." In 2012, Stacy was selected as the Office Team Administrative Professional of the Year.

Stacy earned a M.S. in Education with an Emphasis in Educational Technology from Boise State University, B.S. in Business Information Systems from Utah State University, and two A.A. degrees from Butte College.
