A composting workshop for Rancho Cordova residents is set for Wednesday, August 13. The event is part of a partnership between Atlas Disposal and Soil Born Farms.

You can learn the basics of composting and how to turn your food waste into nutrient-rich soil while reducing landfill waste. If you'd like to participate in the hands-on portion, please bring gloves! All participants will receive a bucket of nutrient rich compost to kickstart their composting journey as well as a $25 gift card from Green Aces Nursery!

This event takes place in the City of Rancho Cordova, which is part of the Sacramento region.
