Remembering Our Fallen is a photographic war memorial that honors our country's military fallen from the Global War on Terror (Sept. 11, 2001 through Aug. 30, 2021). Unlike brick and mortal memorials, Remembering Our Fallen is designed to travel and includes military and personal photos. It's legacy will be that these men and women will be remembered.
Opening ceremonies begin on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 9 AM at Rancho Cordova City Hall, where the Rancho Cordova River City Concert Band Ensemble will perform, followed by speakers representing firefighters, police officers and military.
The event is FREE.
On Saturday, Sept. 13, complimentary hot dogs will be served and live music performed from 5 PM to 7:30 PM.
Self-guided tours of the memorial will be available daily until 7:30 PM.
