Streets Freshened Up in Capital Village Neighborhood
The City of Rancho Cordova will freshen up streets in the Capital Village Neighborhood by applying a pavement treatment from June 3-5, June 18, and June 26, 2015. This work is typically applied to a street once every 7 to 8 years to preserve the existing pavement and extend the life of the street. Crews may be out before or after the project performing minor preparations or cleanup work.
During this period, driving or parking will be limited on streets in the Capital Village Neighborhood. Following is a map showing which streets will be affected on each day.
Work will be performed between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. “No Parking” signs will be placed throughout your neighborhood to identify closures each day. We encourage you to find alternative parking on nearby streets without a “No Parking” sign.
The project is funded by the Rancho Cordova Road Maintenance Assessment District, formed in 2006 to provide funding for roads and street light maintenance.
We appreciate your cooperation and partnership during the project! Click here for Do’s and Don’ts before and during the project.
