The City of Rancho Cordova invites community members to help shape the future at the General Plan 2050 community workshop.

The next workshop will take place on February 26, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Rancho Cordova City Hall, and will focus on exploring new land-use opportunities that will guide how our city grows and evolves over the next several decades

This interactive workshop builds on previous community conversations and dives deeper into big ideas for Rancho Cordova’s future — including imagining a new downtown, creating more vibrant corridors, enhancing gathering spaces, and rethinking Folsom Boulevard as our next great street

Participants will have the opportunity to review concepts, ask questions, and share feedback directly with the General Plan team. Whether you’ve attended a workshop before or are just getting involved, your voice plays an important role in shaping the policies and priorities that will guide Rancho Cordova through 2050.

The General Plan is the community’s long-term blueprint for land use, transportation, economic development, housing, parks, and more. Every comment and idea shared helps ensure the plan reflects the values and vision of the people who live and work here.
