Congratulations are in order! Four Rancho Cordova projects were recently named honorees in the Sacramento Business Journal’s Best Real Estate Projects.
The Animal Barn at Soil Born Farms, which recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 1, was one of the honorees named. The Animal Barn at Soil Born Farms, located in the heart of Rancho Cordova, expands opportunities for agricultural education, hands-on experiences, and community connection at this gem of an urban farm. Visitors can stop by Soil Born Farms at 2140 Chase Drive every Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM to shop farm-fresh produce and local farm goods, grab a bite to eat at Phoebe’s Tea & Snack Bar, and visit the nursery to shop for plants.
Formerly known as the Rancho Cordova Food Locker, the Community Food Hub, was also named. The Community Food Hub celebrated its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier this year. Located at 2771 Don Juan Drive, the opening of this facility marks a meaningful new chapter in how families throughout the community access fresh, healthy food. Families will be able to shop at no cost for fresh produce, pantry staples, dairy, protein, kid-friendly items and culturally familiar foods in a space created to reduce stigma and support choice.
Also recognized on the list are the Project Sunrise and Stone Creek Village projects, contributing to the continued growth and investment happening throughout our community.
