The City of Rancho Cordova, Public Works Department is soliciting Statements of Qualification (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide Stormwater Support Services. The Public Works Stormwater Program is responsible for operations and maintenance of the public drainage system, review of development project plans and drainage studies, compliance with the City's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit, California Department of Fish and Wildlife Routine Maintenance Agreement (RMA), implementation of drainage Capital Improvement Projects, floodplain management, and other related work.
The City of Rancho Cordova relies on various consultants to serve as an extension of staff in the implementation of stormwater work, managed by city staff. The scope of work will require either a full service consultant or multiple consultants that specialize in one or more of the services necessary for the implementation of stormwater and drainage work. The firm(s) should have extensive knowledge of the County of Sacramento Improvement Standards and Construction Specifications, NPDES MS4 and California Construction General Permit (CGP) requirements, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements, and other regulatory standards.
