The City of Rancho Cordova, City Manager's Office Department is soliciting request for proposals for qualified real estate firms or individuals to provide Buyer’s Representative services in connection with the potential acquisition of one of two pre-identified office properties for adaptive reuse as a community center. In addition to the immediate project, the City may utilize the selected consultant on an as-needed basis to provide real estate advisory and acquisition support services for future City property transactions, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this RFQ. The selected consultant will act as a trusted advisor and advocate, representing the City's interests throughout the evaluation, negotiation, and acquisition process.

The City of Rancho Cordova invites proposals from qualified real estate firms or individuals to provide Buyer's Representative services structured in two phases:

  • Phase I: Assistance with the evaluation and potential acquisition of one of two pre-identified office properties for adaptive reuse as a community center.
  • Phase II: On-call real estate advisory and acquisition support services for future City property transactions, at the City's sole discretion.

The selected consultant will act as a trusted advisor and advocate, representing the City's interests throughout the evaluation, negotiation, and acquisition process. For Phase I, the consultant will serve as a critical partner to City staff, helping to bridge real estate expertise with the City's planning, legal, and financial processes. Phase II services are not guaranteed and will be issued on a task-order basis as needs arise.
