Do you have a great idea for your street, block or neighborhood? You dream up the project and apply, and the city could pitch in up to $500 to make it a reality.

Eligibility

Any community group, organization, collection of neighbors, or club that is seeking funding to complete an activity or project that improves the quality of life in a Rancho Cordova neighborhood is eligible.

Criteria

Submissions will be reviewed by the city within 30 days using these criteria:

  • Are city funds currently available?
  • Can the proposed project be completed with local group contributions and up to a $500 Small Community Grant?
  • Does the proposed use of the funds have a reasonable likelihood that it will benefit a Rancho Cordova neighborhood?

How to Apply

  1. Review the Residential Micro Grant Guidelines
  2. Complete a Residential Micro Grant Application
  3. Provide three letters of support from community members who will be a part of the project and who live in the project neighborhood

Please Note: Two applications per person per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) will be considered.

Ready to apply? Send your completed application and letters of support to CommunityEngagement@CityofRanchoCordova.org.
