Elliott Stevenson, Esq., currently serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Rancho Cordova. A resident of District 2, he is the third of four generations of Rancho Cordova residents. His family’s roots here began when his grandfather was stationed at Mather Air Force Base as an Air Traffic Controller in the 1960s, while serving in the United States Air Force.
Elliott is a licensed California attorney and a commissioned JAG Officer in the California State Guard. He brings a service-driven, detail-oriented approach to public decision-making. His focus is practical planning that supports safe neighborhoods, economic opportunity, and long-term quality of life, with an emphasis on clear standards, accountability, and balanced growth.
In the community, Elliott serves as President of the Mitchell Middle School PTSO and founded I Love Rancho Cordova, a non-profit dedicated to building local pride and strengthening community connection through positive, city-focused initiatives.
Educationally, Elliott earned his Juris Doctorate at Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, and his Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Sacramento.
