The City of Rancho Cordova receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Housing (HUD) that supports needed services in our community, including programs for seniors and disadvantaged youth.

2027 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA)

The City of Rancho Cordova is pleased to announce the upcoming 2027 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) workshop and the release of the 2027 CDBG application materials. The workshop will provide prospective applicants with an overview of the City's CDBG Program, available funding opportunities, application requirements, funding criteria, and key dates for the 2027 funding cycle.

2026 Annual Action Plan

In 2026, the city received $675,050 in CDBG funds. As part of the Annual Action Plan process, the city held a virtual public community needs meeting on October 29, 2025, to gather feedback from our community on the use of CDBG funds for the 2026 program year. The city approved the 4 programs submitted and 2 capital improvement projects.

Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER)

The city submitted the 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HUD has notified the City that it continues to meet applicable HUD requirements and is carrying out its Community Planning and Development (CPD) programs in accordance with federal requirements.

Consolidated Plan

The Consolidated Plan is a five-year strategic plan on how the city will spend funds and strategies to respond to community identified needs.
