Food Waste Recycling Is Here

On July 4, 2022, the City of Rancho Cordova launched a Food Waste Recycling Program to comply with a new state law, Senate Bill 1383. This program will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the effects of climate change, which include severe drought, warmer temperatures, increased wildfires, and severe storms. If you did not receive a kitchen pail, booklet and compostable bags, please contact Atlas Disposal at 916.288.2800 or via email at rccustomerservice@atlasdisposal.com and they will deliver a pail to you as soon as possible.
