Have you seen the new banners along major corridors in Rancho Cordova? They tell the story of “Your City”—the City of Rancho Cordova—bringing to life many aspects of the city that you may not know about.
The banners highlight the many positive attributes of our growing city, and these attributes are featured through 18 themes—everything from “Your Tech City” to “Your River City” to “Your Connected City.”
The banners also feature “Your City” photo contributions from our very own residents who let us know what they love about Rancho Cordova!

- Maker City: Located along a six-mile stretch of the stunning American River, Rancho Cordova is business-friendly Maker City. Whether its manufacturing craft beer and spirits, or tools and high-tech equipment, Rancho Cordova is a city burgeoning with innovation and possibility. As one of the top five fastest-growing cities in California, Rancho Cordova is a destination for makers, entrepreneurs, artists, adventurers, fun-lovers, families and friends. - Tech City: Featuring products manufactured by Solidigm, which is headquartered in Rancho Cordova, and technology used at Cordova High School in their medical education pathway classes
- Innovative City: Featuring Mather Veterans Village, Thermogenesis Clean Labs, and the future Zinfandel Pedestrian Overcrossing
- Fun City: Featuring a Rock-Climbing Wall from Kids Day in the Park, games at the International Festival or iFest, and patriotic bicyclists in the city’s hometown 4th of July parade
- Volunteering City: Featuring volunteers participating in a Cordova Creek cleanup, stormwater student education, and beautification efforts
- Diverse City: Featuring residents watching performances at the International Festival or iFest, Latina dance performers, and flags from virtually all countries
- Business-friendly City: Featuring an aerial view of the Cap Village Shopping Center on Zinfandel Drive, as well as Burning Barrel’s manufacturing
- Sports City: Featuring Cordova High’s football team, Cordova Girls Softball, and Cordova High’s Track team
- Barrel District City: Featuring images of the city’s Barrel District, which includes five craft breweries, a distillery, a wine bar, a hard kombucha bar, and a meadery
- Urban Farm City: Featuring images of Soil Born Farms, located on Chase Drive along the American River
- Biking City: Featuring the American River Bike Trail, a neighborhood bike trail, and the Mather Heritage Bike Trail
- Connected City: Featuring key bike and pedestrian connections for city residents and visitors alike, including the American River Bike Trail, Anatolia/Kavala Rancho Bike Trail
- Tree City: Featuring neighborhood tree plantings, as well as an aerial view of your Tree City USA
- Arts & Culture City: Featuring music at the MACC, community theater, kids’ art, exhibits at the MACC, and CalCap Films
- Nature City: Featuring deer in the American River Parkway, the bird habitat at Bear Hollow Stormwater Detention Basin, and educational signage at the Bear Hollow Stormwater Detention Basin
- River City: Featuring images of the six miles of American River in the city, as well as kayakers on the American River
- Headquarters City: Featuring three of our businesses with global headquarters in Rancho Cordova: VSP HQ, Solidigm HQ, and Clutch HQ

Mayor in Motion
Chat and Connect with Your Mayor!
Mayor Siri Pulipati is coming to a neighborhood near you for Mayor in Motion — a casual, welcoming way to connect outside City Hall. Pull up a chair, share your thoughts, and enjoy some great conversation. Whether you want to talk about what’s working well, share a concern, or simply get to know your Mayor, this is your chance to chat in a relaxed setting. Upcoming Dates and Locations:
🛝 Thursday, September 25 – Good Neighbor Day, Cordova Gardens Academy of Art & Sciences | 5–7 PM
🛝 Wednesday, October 22 – Good Neighbor Day, Cypress Neighborhood / Labyrinth Park | 5–7 PM

Mayor's Monthly Bingo
Are you looking for new ways to experience Your City? Download Mayor Pulipati's Monthly Bingo Card and get to know the City of Rancho Cordova. Visit and take a photo at three locations in a row, upload a photo of each location you visit, and the city will mail you FREE Rancho Cordova swag!
How It Works:
- There will be six cards available to download in 2025. The cards will be available to download in the first week of every other month beginning in February.
- Each Bingo Card will have a special theme, and this month’s theme is the Activities in Rancho Cordova.
- Participants will have until the end of the following month to visit and take photos at three locations in a row on the Bingo Card and upload their images using the form below.
- Each person who completes the Bingo Card will receive special swag in the mail. Swag will vary each month.
